Pension Administrator

Our client is seeking a Pension Administrator to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. This role involves supporting all aspects of pension administration, including the management of personal and occupational pension schemes, liaising with advisors and providers, and ensuring the smooth processing of retirement benefits and investments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of two years’ experience in financial services, looking to grow within a collaborative and values-led environment.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with the establishment and transfer of personal pension schemes
  • Support the administration of occupational pension schemes
  • Process client take-on procedures, including system setup
  • Liaise with pension providers and financial advisers regarding pension transfers
  • Manage the re-registration of pension assets
  • Process investment instructions in line with proposals
  • Assist with the appointment of third parties such as investment managers and custodians
  • Handle invoicing and payments of member fees and third-party expenses
  • Support the calculation and payment of retirement benefits
  • Maintain accurate system and company records
  • Prepare annual member statements
  • Provide general administrative support as required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role within financial services
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Systems orientated with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Able to manage strict deadlines with a proactive approach
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment
