Our client is seeking a Manager to join their Global Accounting team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of client entities including companies, partnerships, trusts and foundations. The position includes the preparation and review of technically accurate financial statements and periodic reports, along with people management responsibilities and collaboration with global colleagues.
Job Duties:
- Manage day-to-day work of direct reports, ensuring work is allocated efficiently and deadlines are met
- Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, including complex accounting matters
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and semi-annual reports
- Ensure timely maintenance of accurate accounting records in QuickBooks, Viewpoint and Yardi
- Provide accounting support and guidance to colleagues across jurisdictions
- Maintain accurate central accounting status records to support deadline monitoring
- Monitor efficiency and cost-effectiveness of service delivery
- Build trusted relationships with clients, auditors and third-party providers
- Collaborate with client administration teams and global colleagues to ensure consistency of service
- Provide mentoring, objective setting and development planning for team members
- Maintain awareness of the firm's policies and contribute to the integration of governance services globally
- Ensure professional CPD requirements are met
Job Requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualified, or qualified by relevant experience
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous
- Experience using QuickBooks, Viewpoint and Yardi preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Positive, flexible and service-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgement and discretion
