Business Support Officer

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join their growing fiduciary business in Guernsey on a part-time or flexible basis. This role provides operational and administrative support to the Senior Management Team, alongside coordinating marketing activities and contributing to internal projects. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, improving processes, and supporting strategic initiatives across the business.

Job Duties:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Board of Directors, including coordination of meetings, agendas, board packs and follow-up actions
  • Assist with business operations, research tasks, internal reporting, and ongoing process improvements
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external parties as needed
  • Coordinate marketing and communications activities, including preparation and maintenance of enquiry documents, website content and promotional materials
  • Collaborate with third-party providers to maintain consistent and professional brand messaging
  • Support internal projects focused on operational efficiency, digitalisation, and adoption of new technologies
  • Contribute to the streamlining of internal procedures and documentation
  • Identify areas for improvement and proactively recommend practical solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong task management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and effectively
  • Self-motivated and solutions-oriented with a willingness to take ownership
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in administration, business support, or marketing coordination, preferably within a fiduciary, legal, or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, branding, CRM systems or content management is desirable
  • Exposure to project coordination or internal audit support would be advantageous
