Third Party Risk Consultant

Our client is seeking a Third Party Risk Consultant to join their organisation on a permanent, full-time basis in Jersey. This role is only open to individuals who already hold residency and the right to work in Jersey. You will be responsible for contributing to the design, implementation, and monitoring of non-financial risk frameworks, with a focus on third-party risk. The position involves detailed data analysis and systems management to enhance decision-making and mitigate risk exposure.

Job Duties:

  • Support the development and implementation of non-financial risk policies and frameworks
  • Monitor third-party risk exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
  • Drive data migration processes within the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) system
  • Develop and optimise databases, analytics tools, and data collection systems
  • Identify, interpret, and analyse complex datasets to detect patterns and trends
  • Collaborate with risk and assurance teams to strengthen audit preparedness and reporting
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure data integrity and compliance on the TPRM platform
  • Contribute to risk identification, measurement, reporting, and mitigation strategies
  • Perform various responsibilities associated with the TPRM function

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or first degree in Risk Management
  • Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP) certification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ total experience, with at least 3–4 years in the financial sector or in an audit/assurance environment
  • Strong understanding of non-financial risk principles and regulatory environments
  • Proficiency in data analysis, quality, compliance, and risk reporting
  • Experience in using big data frameworks and tools is desirable
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and evaluating risk management effectiveness
  • Strong behavioural competencies including interpreting data, upholding standards, articulating information, and producing output
