Our client is seeking a Client Services Administrator to join their Operations department in Guernsey on a full-time basis. This role provides assistance and support to clients and financial advisers in relation to unit-linked plans and servicing needs. You will play an integral role in delivering proactive customer service, managing enquiries from end to end, and ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with regulatory and service standards.
Job Duties:
- Provide support to multi-jurisdictional clients regarding their plans
- Communicate professionally with customers, intermediaries, and regional colleagues via telephone, email or video call
- Manage queries and requests relating to transactions and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up
- Take ownership of enquiries, resolving them from start to finish or escalating serious matters to the Client Services Lead
- Ensure compliance with AML, due diligence, enhanced measures, and fraud controls, escalating to Compliance as necessary
- Prioritise workload using workflow tools and monitor outstanding tasks to meet service level standards
- Deliver excellent customer service while keeping customers informed and ensuring they are treated fairly
- Collaborate with wider operations teams and provide support as needed
- Participate in internal projects as directed by the line manager
- Undergo comprehensive training covering procedural requirements and systems
- Engage in broader operational training across customer service and processing teams
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the terms and conditions of unit-linked products
- Attend internal and external training to maintain technical expertise
- Work towards relevant professional qualifications, supported by the organisation
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a customer-focused environment within the services sector
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Customer-focused approach with a drive for continuous improvement
- Ability to build strong relationships across departments and jurisdictions
- Confident communicator by telephone and email
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good level of English and Maths
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team
