Administration Manager, Fund Services

Our client is seeking an experienced Administration Manager to join their Fund Services division in Jersey on a full-time basis. This role will focus on managing the administration of a portfolio of complex, high-risk real estate fund structures, while overseeing and supporting a team of administrators. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality client service, managing risk, and contributing to the operational and strategic delivery of the department.

Job Duties:

  • Administer a limited portfolio of complex, high-risk fund and company structures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures at all times
  • Monitor and manage risk profiles across the portfolio, escalating issues where appropriate
  • Act as an authorised signatory in accordance with internal policies
  • Attend client meetings and liaise with external advisers as required
  • Manage billing processes and aged debt across personal and team matters
  • Ensure continuity of service by briefing senior management ahead of planned absences
  • Contribute to departmental and management meetings, implementing decisions and actions as directed
  • Allocate new business and internal tasks effectively based on team skillsets and capacity
  • Support department-wide projects to improve efficiency and enhance client delivery
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of administrators, promoting a client-focused, efficient working culture
  • Guide, support and develop team members in line with their professional and personal objectives
  • Participate in recruitment, appraisals, absence management and performance-related matters with support from HR

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in fund and company administration, ideally with a focus on real estate
  • Strong technical knowledge of fund structures, Jersey Company Law and the local regulatory environment
  • Sound understanding of the tax implications related to fund and corporate structures
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Confident using own initiative and making decisions within corporate policy frameworks
  • Solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage challenges effectively
  • Proficiency in standard IT applications including Microsoft Office
