Crew Employment Specialist

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Crew Employment Specialist to join their Jersey office on a full-time, permanent basis. Working 35 hours per week, this role is central to ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of crew employment and payroll administration for a fleet of superyachts. You will be responsible for managing contracts, payroll records, compliance with employment legislation across jurisdictions, and ongoing crew certification tracking.

Job Duties:

  • Issue and maintain employment contracts for superyacht crew
  • Input and reconcile payroll data with accuracy
  • Liaise with employees and clients on employment, contractual, and payroll matters
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employment records
  • Ensure timely and correct processing of monthly payrolls
  • Respond to enquiries by email or phone professionally and promptly
  • Maintain and update payroll systems and associated records
  • Perform a range of general administrative duties
  • Interpret and apply HR policies and employment law across multiple jurisdictions
  • Handle complex employment matters confidentially and in compliance with applicable legislation
  • Manage crew employment affairs across a portfolio of yachts
  • Track crew certification and monitor expiry dates for renewal

Job Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic, confident, and motivated with a willingness to learn

  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
  • Intelligent and methodical approach to work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
