Our client is seeking a New Business Assistant Manager to support the delivery of pan-island client take-on services, ensuring all regulatory and internal compliance requirements are met. This is a full-time, permanent position working closely with the wider team to provide a prompt, streamlined onboarding experience across all service lines. The successful candidate will also support the New Business Manager in overseeing the client take-on team to ensure consistency and best practice.
Job Duties:
- Manage the entire client take-on process, including local and international conflicts checks
- Undertake initial risk assessments and ensure all client checks are completed to the highest standards
- Collect, review, and process all client onboarding documentation
- Manage the risk referrals process for high-risk clients and complete records in the client manager system
- Liaise with relevant service lines to manage client expectations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Act as a point of advice on take-on queries, offering practical and business-focused guidance
- Proactively monitor onboarding progress to ensure timely completion
- Support training and supervision of new business administrators
- Escalate any issues to the New Business Manager as required

- Ability to delegate tasks appropriately
- Holds or is willing to study for the International Compliance Association Certificate in KYC and CDD
