Our client is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst to join their growing IT department in the Isle of Man. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role ideal for someone with at least two years' experience in IT support who is looking to develop their career in a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional environment. The successful candidate will provide technical support to users across multiple global offices, helping to resolve incidents and service requests while contributing to continuous service improvement.
Job Duties:
- Handle and resolve IT incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
- Provide technical assistance to users locally and remotely across multiple jurisdictions
- Identify recurring issues and escalate them for long-term resolution
- Maintain clear communication with users throughout the lifecycle of their requests
- Prioritise support tasks based on urgency and business impact
- Recommend improvements to support processes and service delivery
- Document resolutions and troubleshooting steps to contribute to the knowledge base
- Maintain and update user and technical documentation
- Provide support for desktop and server operating systems and user applications
- Liaise with third-party vendors and partners on support-related matters
- Participate in on-call rota, system patching, and operational readiness testing
Job Requirements:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a service desk or IT support role
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Familiarity with service desk systems and multi-platform support
- Knowledge of the following technologies is beneficial:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft Entra, Intune and Azure
- Apple Configurator
- Microsoft PowerShell
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, JIRA Service Management)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- ITIL 4 Foundation or Microsoft certifications are desirable
