Tax Compliance Officer

Our client is seeking two motivated individuals to join their Tax Compliance Officer on a permanent, full-time basis. These roles offer an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in tax preparation to further their careers within a supportive and flexible working environment. Reporting to the Tax Compliance Manager or Associate Director (depending on experience), the successful candidates will contribute to a range of tax, accounting, and client services, with responsibilities tailored to suit individual experience levels.

Job Duties:

• Prepare Isle of Man and UK tax returns for individuals, trusts, and companies
• Review tax returns prepared by junior team members
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the department
• Assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping for client entities
• Provide occasional support to private client services, including company secretarial and executorship tasks

Job Requirements:

• Experience preparing Isle of Man and/or UK tax returns (corporate, personal or trust)
• Exposure to bookkeeping or accounting (desirable)
• Confidence in reviewing the work of junior staff or a willingness to develop these skills
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach
• Commitment to professional development; support is available for those studying ACCA, ACA, ATT, CTA or equivalent qualifications
