AEOI Reporting Manager

Our client is seeking an AEOI Reporting Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This role plays a vital part in ensuring compliance with global tax reporting frameworks, with a focus on FATCA, CRS, and other AEOI obligations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end AEOI reporting process, supporting business units with technical expertise, enhancing data quality, and driving technology-based automation solutions to streamline reporting.

Job Duties:

  • Lead the annual AEOI reporting process for FATCA and CRS, ensuring timely, accurate submissions to tax authorities
  • Ensure AEOI policies and procedures comply with both local and international regulations
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation checks, and quality assurance on reporting data
  • Prepare necessary reports, certifications, and supporting documentation for AEOI compliance
  • Act as the subject matter expert on AEOI queries, offering guidance across business units
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Tax, and client-facing teams to support accurate data collection and reporting
  • Support the business with AEOI-related inquiries and regulatory interpretations
  • Work with technology teams to automate the AEOI reporting process and improve reporting efficiency
  • Lead or contribute to the development and implementation of tax reporting solutions and platforms
  • Conduct gap analyses and define requirements for reporting system improvements
  • Implement data automation tools to enhance reporting workflows
  • Monitor emerging technologies and trends relevant to AEOI reporting
  • Develop and deliver internal training on AEOI frameworks and best practices
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the reporting team is informed
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the AEOI reporting lifecycle
  • Maintain and review robust internal controls to support reporting accuracy and compliance
  • Continuously update procedures in line with evolving regulatory obligations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Tax, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification is desirable
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in AEOI reporting, FATCA/CRS compliance, or tax-related roles in financial or fiduciary services
  • Proven experience in fiduciary services at a senior level
  • Strong understanding of AEOI, FATCA, CRS, and global tax reporting frameworks
  • Experience with technology-driven reporting processes, including automation and integration
  • Familiarity with tax reporting platforms and data standards such as XML Schema
  • Proficiency in data analysis and validation using Excel, SQL, or similar tools
  • Project or change management experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
