Our client is seeking a Trainee Fund Administrator to join their team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering efficient, timely, and high-quality administration services to a diverse portfolio of fund administration clients. This position offers the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a growing and dynamic organisation, with responsibilities that include assisting in various administrative tasks linked to Guernsey domiciled regulated, listed, and unregulated structures.
Job Duties:
- Assist with the administration of a varied portfolio of Guernsey domiciled regulated, listed, and unregulated structures.
- Support the preparation of capital transactions, investor communications, and maintaining investor details.
- Assist with company secretarial work, including convening board meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Provide support with client due diligence for new and existing clients.
- Assist with FATCA/CRS reporting and regulatory/statutory filings.
- Process banking transactions, payment instructions, and bookkeeping under supervision.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to enhance your technical knowledge and industry understanding.
- Update timesheets daily and ensure all administrative activities comply with company policies.
Job Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Willingness to study towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICSA, Certificate in Fund Administration).
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Sound educational background with proficiency in English and Mathematics.
- Good interpersonal skills, capable of developing strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and intermediaries.
