Client Administrator

Our client is seeking a Client Administrator to assist with client and investment administration during the transition to various support services within the Group. This full-time role, based in Jersey, encompasses a variety of administrative tasks, supporting oversight service coordination, daily file maintenance, and periodic client file reviews for AML purposes. This opportunity presents varied exposure for candidates aspiring to delve into investment management, with ample scope for career advancement.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain the schedule of cases and ensure timely reporting delivery
  • Establish client structure in the core investment system, Tercero
  • Monitor receipt of periodic reporting data from underlying asset managers
  • Coordinate relevant security setups
  • Run and audit performance data
  • Generate reports and serve as the initial checker
  • Liaise with the lead relationship manager regarding problem resolution
  • Review processes to maximise efficiencies using in-house systems
  • Prepare bespoke commentary for review by the relationship manager
  • Carry out scheduled periodic file reviews for clients and intermediaries
  • Complete a Client Risk Assessment template
  • Check for outstanding CDD tasks on the portfolio/CRM system (Assetmax)
  • Review CDD / SOF / SOW to identify deficiencies and necessary remediation
  • Review transaction records to flag unusual movements
  • Contact clients for required information
  • Record new tasks on CDD within Assetmax
  • Ensure data integrity and record-keeping are maintained accurately
  • Manage the periodic review schedule
  • Monitor and corroborate unexplained transactions for AML purposes
  • Clear daily exception reporting generated by AML client screening tools
  • Manage and document client trigger events as per policy guidelines
  • Engage in client communication and periodical follow-ups as required
  • Assist with general aspects of administration, including data collation for regulatory reporting
  • Provide operational support to the middle office and investment team
  • Assist the investment team with quarter-end reporting processes
  • Prepare fund and strategy fact sheets
  • Collate and send performance data to external gatekeepers
