Senior Business Support Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Support Analyst to join their dynamic team in Guernsey, within a progressive, inclusive, and diverse family-owned fiduciary and fund administration business. This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a crucial role in supporting compliance, onboarding, and monitoring functions for both licensed investment and fiduciary businesses. Job Duties:

  • Assist with onboarding new clients and entities in fund and fiduciary/trust areas by collating and reviewing CDD, ensuring effective communication across the business.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Business Support and Compliance teams.
  • Monitor outstanding CDD deficiency tasks in Acumen and provide regular management information updates.
  • Provide compliance advice and support related to AML/CFT obligations for the business and its clients.
  • Help establish and maintain policies, procedures, and controls, supporting their implementation throughout the organisation.
  • Identify and propose efficiencies to enhance service delivery and risk management.
  • Promote a positive compliance culture through training and educational initiatives, remaining abreast of legislative changes.
  • Manage client data across various systems while maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead various project work as required.
  • Mentor junior staff under the supervision of a manager.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, fund investments, or fiduciary services.
  • Solid understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and AML/CFT requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cohesively within a team.
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to addressing issues.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
