Our client is seeking a dedicated Client Compliance Manager to contribute to the design, implementation, and enhancement of a client-focused compliance strategy and framework that aligns with the organisational compliance infrastructure. This full-time position involves serving as the designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO) for client structures. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fulfilling regulatory obligations to the highest standards while liaising effectively with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Job Duties:
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the client compliance framework.
- Provide accurate, high-quality compliance reports suitable for Client Board meetings.
- Conduct ad hoc compliance tests where applicable.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, colleagues, and clients.
- Promote and sustain a positive and robust risk and compliance culture.
- Manage and support colleagues within the Client Compliance Services Team to ensure delivery of high-quality information and guidance.
- Ensure compliance management and oversight align with organisational standards and guidelines.
- Champion the organisation’s values and behaviours in all aspects of work.
- Take responsibility for personal development in line with agreed annual performance objectives.
- Provide support for additional compliance tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Working towards a Table 4 qualification alongside relevant compliance qualifications is preferred.
- Previous finance industry experience, specifically in funds.
- Key Person experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of AML legislation and the AML Handbook.
- Familiarity with the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 and related codes of practice for funds and fund services.
- Understanding of local finance industry and regulatory requirements.
- Insight into risk management and different fund and corporate structures.
