Banking & Client Operations Senior Analyst

Our client is seeking a dedicated Banking & Client Operations Senior Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring top-notch service delivery to clients, particularly in payment and digital banking services. This full-time position is integral to driving efficiency and accuracy within client operations, focusing on compliance with business risk appetite and adhering to AML and FT controls. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day client experience, managing internal interactions while keeping the client’s needs at the forefront of all activities.

Job Duties:

• Manage secure digital communications, ensuring efficient client engagement and service delivery.
• Monitor and authorise inward and outward client payments while maintaining accurate internal account reconciliations.
• Handle transaction and sanction control alerts to uphold compliance and regulatory standards.
• Analyse reports such as BACS and overnight status for accurate reconciliations of internal accounts.
• Facilitate the opening of various account types including Call, Fixed Term Deposit, and Fiduciary Accounts.
• Process ad-hoc exceptions including internal journals and account closures.
• Engage with third-party and counterparty relationships, managing payment recalls, SWIFT messaging, and reporting incidents.

Job Requirements:

• A solid working knowledge of AML risk mitigation tools and automated transaction monitoring systems.
• Experience in AML processes, with a keen understanding of current trends, policies, and regulations.
• Proven ability to work accurately within deadlines, exhibiting high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with bank products, processes, and banking systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying clear messages to clients and colleagues.
