Audit Senior

Our client is currently seeking a full-time Audit Senior to join their team based in St Helier. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant to take charge of all aspects of audit assignments, from planning through to completion. You will be responsible for leading audit teams, managing deadlines, and liaising directly with clients to ensure that audits are delivered efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the Audit Senior will provide training and developmental support to junior team members. JOB DUTIES:

• Lead audit teams in the execution of assignments for various clients.
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure clear communication and understanding of audit requirements.
• Manage and adhere to audit deadlines, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
• Provide training and developmental support to junior staff members, promoting their professional growth.
• Prepare comprehensive audit working papers to support findings and recommendations.
• Oversee multiple simultaneous audit assignments, maintaining high standards across all projects.
• Provide technical advice to clients regarding audit processes and compliance with relevant standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• You must be a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with relevant experience in auditing.
• Strong technical knowledge of the audit process and applicable auditing standards is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
• A good work ethic and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple assignments.
• You should possess the capability to provide effective support and guidance to junior staff.
