Our client, an independent and leading provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration, and yacht services, is seeking a Senior Client Accountant for their Private Wealth division. This position presents a fantastic opportunity for those pursuing an accounting qualification, with responsibility for a small portfolio of clients and oversight of junior team members as required. This is a full-time role.
Job Duties:
- Prepare a small portfolio of financial statements.
- Assist junior team members in resolving simple queries.
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting, including management accounts, loan interest schedules, and asset statements.
- Collaborate closely with the team to provide necessary support.
- Liaise with clients and their professional representatives regarding accounting-related matters, as required.
- Foster team morale by actively promoting the company's values and nurturing a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and leadership.
- Identify personal development areas and seek assistance to enhance knowledge and skills.
Job Requirements:
- Part ACCA qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Trust and Company accounts preparation.
- Experience with IFRS, FRS 102, and FRS 102 Section 1A accounts.
- Ability to prepare accounts of a moderately simple nature for Trusts and Companies.
- Excellent numeracy and computer skills, particularly with spreadsheet applications.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented professional.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
