Our client is seeking a Manager to join their Investments & Treasury team, which is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of investments held by client structures and the oversight of investment management service providers. This role is crucial in supporting the investment function and providing comprehensive consultancy to Trust and Fund Teams. The successful candidate will engage with trustees and clients regarding investment matters while conducting due diligence on investment management and banking providers. Job Duties:
- Co-manage the ongoing performance monitoring process for portfolios.
- Provide qualitative commentary on portfolio performance.
- Facilitate discussions with trustees and clients regarding investment manager performance.
- Review and input data related to portfolio mandates, risk profiles, and restrictions.
- Conduct due diligence on current and prospective investment management and banking providers.
- Meet with representatives from investment firms and banks to discuss due diligence.
- Offer consultancy on investment-related matters, including investment manager selection and individual investments.
- Manage FX, cash, and treasury management functions.
- Attend meetings with Trust Teams and clients as relevant.
- Prepare and review client reporting and documentation for internal investment oversight meetings.
- Attend investment oversight committee and board meetings as required.
- Co-manage the Investments & Treasury team group mailbox.
- Continuously improve team processes, including the development of reporting and marketing materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with Trust Teams, clients, and intermediaries.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Regulated Qualifications Framework level 4 investment qualification.
- Honours degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an investment environment, preferably in a consultancy role.
- Advanced literacy, numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to effectively manage workload and prioritise tasks.
- Flexibility to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
