Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join their ambitious Business Development & Marketing team on a three-month fixed-term basis. As a Business Development Assistant, you will be heavily involved in supporting various initiatives designed to enhance the firm’s business development and marketing efforts. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that projects and events are executed effectively while maintaining high standards.
Job Duties:
- Assist in the implementation, delivery, and reporting of business development and marketing plans
- Aid in project management and preparation of legal directory submissions
- Help in the delivery of external events that support business development initiatives and marketing efforts
- Organise operational and logistical aspects of events in collaboration with the Business Development and Marketing team
- Support lawyers in their preparations for business development trips and follow-up activities
- Utilise the CRM system to capture, process, and report on client, intermediary, and business development data
- Contribute to the delivery of business development initiatives, including pitching
- Collaborate with colleagues in the local and global Marketing department to coordinate business development activities and communications
- Strive to develop a comprehensive understanding of markets, key messages, and trends, including attending relevant training
- Perform any other ad hoc duties or projects as required
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of business development and marketing activities and events
- Enthusiasm and proactivity in all tasks
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritise tasks, time, budgets, and people to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Proven ability to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
