Accountant

Our client is seeking a qualified or QBE Accountant for a full-time, permanent position based in Isle of Man. The successful candidate will possess high-level experience in client accounting or senior bookkeeping. They will be an enthusiastic individual who appreciates the importance of high-quality and accurate bookkeeping, which serves as the foundation of their services and business.

Job Duties:

• Manage client accounts and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping
• Provide support to local sole-traders and SMEs
• Utilise accounting software (preferably Xero, but Sage or QuickBooks is acceptable)
• Maintain relationships with local non-corporate clients
• Uphold high standards of financial reporting and compliance

Job Requirements:

• Qualified accountant or QBE
• Significant experience in client accounting or senior bookkeeping
• Familiarity with Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks accounting software
• Strong interpersonal skills and a personable approach
• Proactive attitude and ability to engage with local clients
