Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Corporate Actions team. This role involves overseeing all corporate actions across a substantial book of business and providing timely communications to customers and advisers. The environment is dynamic, with stringent market deadlines, and responsibilities will eventually include conducting investigations and evaluating risks. The successful candidate will blend adherence to established controls with innovative thinking.
Job Duties:
- Undertake all activities to progress customer service requests in accordance with local procedures and guidelines.
- Liaise with fund houses and relevant parties to obtain outstanding documents or information necessary for customer requests.
- Collaborate with internal technical authorities to resolve team queries.
- Review own and others' work to ensure compliance with local standards and customer expectations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery's timeliness, quality, or cost.
- Ensure up-to-date and accurate statistics.
- Conduct all work promptly while adhering to service standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure team compliance with policies.
- Investigate and resolve errors or complaints within the team.
- Utilise specialist knowledge for root cause analysis on complex queries.
- Actively monitor industry initiatives and contribute to enhancing the organisation’s position.
- Simplify complex information for less experienced colleagues or customers.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including policyholders, advisers, and fund managers.
Job Requirements:
- Essential: Two to five years of experience in finance.
- Essential: Experience in investments.
- Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Desirable: CISI or CII qualifications.
- Desirable: Knowledge of corporate actions.
