Fund Accounting Operations Analyst

Our client, a leading international provider of fund, corporate and private wealth services, is seeking a qualified accountant to join their dynamic team in the Isle of Man. This is a full-time position within a key strategic growth area, focusing on fund administration. The role involves compiling and reviewing valuations and accounting records for a broad range of offshore funds and associated special purpose vehicles and fund management companies.

Job Duties:

• Improve and maintain the internal control environment to ensure efficiencies and compliance with accounting standards, collective investment scheme regulations and fund constitutional documents.
• Problem solve and develop solutions for complex accounting or technical situations.
• Build strong client relationships by providing expert, value-added and efficient services.
• Assist global jurisdictions with accounting and administrative tasks.
• Prepare financial statements for global jurisdictions’ fund clients.
• Assist global jurisdictions with billing, regulatory reporting and any ad-hoc requests.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations relevant to fund administration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop effective solutions.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Proficient in financial statement preparation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
