Fund Administrator

Our client, a prominent financial services provider headquartered in the Isle of Man, is expanding its operations and is looking for a Fund Administrator to join their team. This full-time position involves 37.5 hours of work per week and is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in developing their knowledge and skills in accountancy, investments, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be integral to ensuring accurate fund administration and maintaining vital records that support the organisation's commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients. Job Duties:

  • Maintenance of fund accounting and shareholder records in an accurate and timely manner
  • Reconciliation of investment portfolios and bank account balances
  • Preparation of net asset value reports for clients
  • Preparation of annual/interim financial statements
  • Processing of manual and online payment instructions
  • Maintenance of client and investor due diligence records in accordance with AML/CFT legislation
  • Processing investor share dealing instructions
  • Liaising with clients and investors in a professional manner, by telephone and in writing

Job Requirements:

  • 3 A Levels, or 5 GCSEs at grade B or above, or equivalent
  • Previous experience and knowledge in fund administration or accountancy would be beneficial, but is not essential
  • Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Experience with PFS-PAXUS accounting software
  • Understanding of the principles of the AML/CFT Code
  • Knowledge of basic types of investments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
