Our client is seeking a Trainee Compliance Administrator to provide assistance to the Data Management Team in maintaining and ensuring the integrity of various databases. This role involves supporting the delivery of timely and accurate reports for Board and Management information purposes, as well as National Risk Assessments, FATCA/Common Reporting Standard reporting, and other ad-hoc requirements. This is a full-time position.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Data Management Administrator with the input, maintenance, or reporting of data held within various databases, ensuring accuracy and correct recording.
- Help the Compliance Monitoring Administrator with monitoring and reporting as per the Compliance Monitoring Programme schedule for regulated entities, managed entities, and funds.
- Support the Compliance Team in collating relevant documentation for client files and updating compliance registers.
- Investigate and clear alerts from the regular client database scans as part of Client Diligence Monitoring Systems.
- Maintain compliance/operational registers and provide information to the Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for reporting purposes.
- Assist with compiling and providing information or documentation to relevant appointed parties or business relationships such as banks and investment houses.
- Support the Assistant Manager, Compliance, and assist with any ad-hoc or Business as Usual compliance tasks identified.
Job Requirements:
- Educated to A-Level standard.
- Willingness to study towards an appropriate professional compliance qualification.
- Good level of judgement and logical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent personal skills to deliver compliance guidance to the business.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
