This role is not for a qualified accountant, making it an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to work part-time or during school hours, while being flexible to assist with additional hours as required, particularly for holiday or sickness cover. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing accurate and efficient financial assistance to the business. This position involves close collaboration with other departments to resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance with internal controls, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives. Additional ad-hoc administrative and financial support may be required, providing variety and opportunities for professional growth within the role. The right person will be energetic, numerically literate, and possess experience with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
