Our client currently has a 9-month fixed term contract available within their Investment Management Department for an Investment Administrator. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the ongoing administration of externally managed customer portfolios. Reporting to the 3rd Party Team Manager, the role entails key responsibilities including account opening and closures, ensuring that all relevant account opening documents and agreements are completed. The role also involves processing all cash transfers between third parties and the company in line with customer requests, as well as the identification, investigation, and resolution of third party and customer queries. Maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders and supporting other team members will be essential to achieving success in this position. The ideal candidate will need to possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an investment-related or similar role and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Furthermore, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to organise and work to strict deadlines while exhibiting a flexible and adaptable attitude.
