Operations & Wealth Manager Assistant

Our client is a leading entity in the wealth management sector, dedicated to crafting tailored investment portfolios for high-net-worth private clients, charities, trusts, and corporate organisations. The firm offers an extensive range of wealth management solutions, including equity and retirement portfolios, fiduciary services, and a global stockbroking service. This role is integral to supporting the wealth manager by managing administrative and client service tasks, ensuring a seamless client experience. The Operations & Wealth Manager Assistant will coordinate the client review process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while providing ongoing support to the compliance team. Additionally, the role involves daily monitoring of client funds, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining registered office compliance. This position calls for a full-time commitment, with expectations for driving process improvements and engaging effectively in a high-energy environment.

Job Duties:

  • Support the wealth manager with administrative and client service tasks.
  • Coordinate the client review process and ensure timely follow-up on client issues and requests.
  • Manage the onboarding of clients and the accurate submission of KYC/AML/CDD documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring incoming client funds and authorising payments.
  • Improve efficiency of operating and administrative processes as required.
  • Ensure punctual completion of all company secretarial filings and manage official communications.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a degree in commerce, finance, accounting, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience within the financial services industry, preferably in the UK or Channel Islands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of internal control concepts in a financial services context.
  • Proven experience in collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure with exceptional analytical and numerical skills.
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Highly organised with a strong customer focus and excellent time management skills.
