Account Manager, UK Relationships

Our client is seeking an Account Manager to join their Account Management team in Castletown. This position is crucial as it serves as the primary point of contact for Advisers and Sales teams, offering support on new business applications, product guidance, and managing relationships. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring seamless onboarding processes and delivering exceptional service standards. This full-time position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication, as you will be engaging with various stakeholders. You will be pivotal in supporting the Sales team with sales administration and facilitating product training for advisers and staff.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Sales Team and Advisers with new business applications to ensure service standards are met.
  • Provide sales administration support to regional offices.
  • Support product training for Advisers and staff members.
  • Act as a liaison between Advisers, their operations teams, and the New Business Team to resolve issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on products open to new business.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to provide feedback on product features and developments.
  • Support networking and marketing events both locally and off-island.
  • Monitor sales activity and produce management information.

Job Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of new business and operational processes for international investment/life insurance products.
  • Solid understanding of international investment/life insurance products.
  • Experience in dealing effectively with product distributors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of UK Trust and Estate Planning structures would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of UK WRAP platforms and Discretionary Fund Managers would be advantageous.
