They are seeking an Insurance Broker to join their team and contribute to their growth by fostering strong client relationships. In this role, you will be pivotal in helping clients find the ideal coverage that suits their needs while collaborating closely with underwriters and insurers to secure the right policies. Your responsibilities will also extend to developing business opportunities and maintaining robust connections with clients and industry professionals alike. As an integral member of the team, you will be encouraged to continuously enhance your product knowledge to provide expert advice and ensure that clients receive the best possible service. Job Duties:

  • Help clients find the right insurance by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products
  • Sell and manage personal and commercial insurance policies in line with company and regulatory standards
  • Negotiate with underwriters and insurers to secure optimal cover and terms for clients
  • Continuously develop product knowledge to provide expert advice
  • Review and assess risks to ensure fair outcomes for clients and meet financial objectives
  • Ensure accurate and timely sales and customer service reporting
  • Review and manage existing client portfolios to maintain strong underwriting performance
  • Train and support less experienced colleagues when required
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners
  • Participate in short-term projects and contribute to business improvements

Job Requirements:

  • Entry level CII Professional qualification, or a willingness to undertake necessary training to pursue a career within the Insurance Industry and obtain the relevant professional qualification
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and a professional, approachable, and friendly manner
  • Experience in a busy, customer-focused environment, either face-to-face or via the telephone
  • Experience in sales and achieving results in a targeted environment is desirable
