Senior Payments Administrator

Our client is seeking a Senior Payments Administrator to join their team on the Isle of Man. This role is essential for ensuring effective payment processing, handling exceptions and queries, and administering financial products to meet stakeholder needs. The successful candidate will work full-time and is expected to start immediately. Additionally, the role involves assisting the manager in workflow management and supporting junior team members to maintain high levels of customer service. Candidates must be Isle of Man residents, as this role is not open to relocation or sponsorship. Job Duties:

  • Book and process foreign exchange transactions according to defined policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
  • Deliver exceptional service by understanding and meeting client needs, enhancing the overall client experience.
  • Identify and escalate any suspicious activities to management, particularly those that may risk the bank or breach Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer regulations.
  • Suggest improvements to processes that cross functions, aiming to boost efficiency and quality within the Operations team.
  • Manage inward and outward payment queues to assist the manager with work allocation and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of Secondary/High school/A levels.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Operations with a background in general banking.
  • Strong behavioural competencies including checking details, embracing change, following procedures, interacting with people, interpreting data, and managing tasks.
  • Technical competencies in business intelligence, client relationship management, continuous improvement, creative problem solving, operations, commercial acumen, and operations risk management.
