Our client is seeking a Compliance Specialist to provide vital support to the Compliance team and the wider business in Guernsey. This full-time role will involve working alongside the Compliance Officer to offer guidance and support to staff and management in meeting local and global compliance standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating local Compliance Manuals to ensure they reflect current practices and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role encompasses undertaking periodic monitoring reviews of compliance arrangements and reporting findings to senior management. The Compliance Specialist will also be required to keep the Head of Compliance informed of significant regulatory changes, providing impact analyses and recommendations where necessary. Responsibilities include ensuring that compliance arrangements are robust in the event of delegated accounts or outsourced functions and managing the reporting of complaints, breaches, errors, and omissions processes. Furthermore, the successful candidate will assist in gathering trustee client documentation and records, support Portfolio Directors with queries related to account opening, and ensure high standards of documentation and compliance quality assurance.
