Tax Reporting Officer

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join a team as a Tax Reporting Officer in Guernsey. The successful candidate will engage in the administration, monitoring and processing of client tax information across the Channel Islands business. Key responsibilities include processing the necessary data for client tax reporting and ensuring that all information is administrated, maintained, reviewed, and completed promptly. While prior tax reporting experience is not essential, familiarity with FATCA, CRS or QI would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop within the role. This position is suitable for someone who is organised, reliable, and a strong communicator, capable of working effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Job Duties:

  • Administer and monitor client tax information across the Channel Islands.
  • Process data required for client tax reporting efficiently.
  • Ensure timely administration and maintenance of tax-related information.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks and support clients.
  • Develop knowledge of tax reporting and financial services.
  • Maintain attention to detail and demonstrate a proactive approach.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Job Requirements:

  • Motivated and ambitious individual with a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and develop within the role.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience in tax reporting is not essential but would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of FATCA, CRS or QI is a plus.
