Senior Manager, Strategy Enablement

This role entails translating strategic intent into actionable capabilities by enabling alignment, execution, and integration of strategic priorities. The successful candidate will ensure that strategy is understood and embedded in operational rhythms and decision-making processes, while also tracking strategic key performance indicators (KPIs). The position is geared towards candidates with 8 to 10 years of experience in business support, particularly within a banking context operating across multiple jurisdictions. A first degree in Business Commerce, Finance or Accounting is required, with a postgraduate degree being preferred. The role demands experience in managing a broad range of projects to completion, as well as the ability to influence and inspire teams in driving transformational change. The position may include various working arrangements, and candidates should be prepared to enhance the organisation's agility and client-centric approach.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and reference frameworks to facilitate strategic priority setting and translate strategy into business priorities.
  • Guide business leaders and programme managers on aligning initiatives to strategic goals.
  • Identify competitive enablers to recommend strategic interventions and assess internal capabilities and market dynamics to inform strategic positioning.
  • Contribute to the development of flexible operating models and client value propositions.
  • Support the initial scoping and documentation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a first degree in Business Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Postgraduate degree in Business Commerce preferred.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in business support.
  • Proven experience managing a broad range of projects to completion.
  • Ability to influence and inspire teams in driving transformational change.
  • Strong skills in strategic alignment and execution, strategic planning and reporting, and operational planning.
