The role of Bookkeeper involves playing an integral part within the accounting team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services to clients and in-house companies. This full-time, on-site position is based in the Douglas office and requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who can effectively manage their workload while meeting tight deadlines. The successful candidate will work across multiple projects in a dynamic, client-focused, and entrepreneurial environment, collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all deliverables. Key responsibilities include assisting with client payments and accounting processes, preparing accurate monthly client invoicing, and performing monthly and year-end intercompany reconciliations. Additionally, support in the preparation of monthly management accounts is expected, as well as ensuring timely and accurate delivery of client services and assignments. Ad hoc tasks may also be required as part of the role.
