Account Manager

The role of Account Manager involves acting as the primary point of contact between Relationship Managers and a designated portfolio of clients, delivering the highest standard of client service. This position requires coordinating client instructions and managing the end-to-end processes of deposits and payments, foreign exchange, securities transactions, and corporate actions. The successful candidate will deliver a highly personalised service through proactive client engagement while ensuring that client accounts are maintained to meet group minimum standards. Responsibilities will also include preparing account opening documentation, resolving issues in collaboration with the Relationship Manager and onboarding team, and supporting the Relationship Manager in monitoring transactional activity. This role offers a dynamic environment where the candidate will assist in client periodic reviews and promote the full suite of services offered, such as savings, credit cards, FX, custody, and lending. The Account Manager will also collaborate with the Relationship Manager to manage and coordinate client entertainment and relationship-building activities while staying current with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate client instructions
  • Manage the end-to-end process of deposits and payments, foreign exchange, securities transactions, and corporate actions
  • Deliver a personalised service through proactive client engagement
  • Prepare account opening documentation
  • Resolve issues in collaboration with the Relationship Manager and onboarding team
  • Ensure client accounts are maintained to meet group minimum standards
  • Support the Relationship Manager in monitoring transactional activity and addressing remediation requirements
  • Assist in client periodic reviews
  • Promote the full suite of services including savings, credit cards, FX, custody, and lending
  • Collaborate with the Relationship Manager on client entertainment and relationship-building activities
  • Stay current with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a front office client support role, ideally in the banking/trust services sector
  • Driven to deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of multi-tasking
  • Knowledge of Banking, Custody, FX, and Credit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Attention to detail and well-organised
  • Good project management skills and a track record of effective teamwork
  • Strong IT skills
  • High degree of risk awareness and compliance orientation
  • Ability to effectively support client relationships in conjunction with the Relationship Manager
