Senior Administrator, Corporate

The role of Senior Administrator involves providing comprehensive corporate administration services to a diverse portfolio of clients and related entities. This position operates under the supervision of a senior team member while also requiring the successful candidate to work independently. The Senior Administrator will act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring that their requests for actions are addressed promptly. The role includes managing the formation and ongoing administration of a range of companies and liaising with third parties such as lawyers, auditors, bankers, and investment managers. Responsibilities also encompass transaction management, compliance with statutory requirements, and overseeing the training and development of Trainee Administrators and other team members. Job Duties:

  • Manage the formation and administration of a diversified portfolio of companies.
  • Liaise with clients and external parties, including legal and financial professionals.
  • Organise and attend client meetings, drafting minutes and resolutions.
  • Ensure timely completion of statutory filings and maintain accurate statutory records.
  • Process bank payments and reconcile payment logs.
  • Oversee the production and circulation of invoices, including fee collection and debt chasing.
  • Supervise and assist in training less experienced team members, providing feedback and identifying training needs.
  • Monitor work in progress and billing according to fee agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, specifically relating to anti-money laundering.
  • Undertake any additional project work as directed by management.

Job Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in the finance industry (preferred for Senior Administrator level).
  • Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred).
  • Working towards or holding a professional qualification such as the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland Level 4/5 qualification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Viewpoint is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good understanding of applicable statutory laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong client focus with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative effectively.
  • Commitment to providing training and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Driven to achieve excellence for themselves, their clients, and their team.
