Project Manager

This role involves establishing a Project and Change Delivery function to support business transformation and strategic initiatives across the organisation. The successful Project Manager will lead and deliver change projects aimed at driving business improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic outcomes. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and mobilisation to implementation and benefits realisation. The individual will ensure that all projects are delivered effectively, align with business objectives, and comply with regulatory and governance requirements. The role is essential for managing business change and transformation initiatives, with the candidate responsible for ensuring successful implementation from planning through to delivery while enhancing processes and driving operational efficiency.

Job Duties:

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and management of change projects to drive business improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage projects through their full lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Enhance processes, manage change, and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement to gather requirements and define project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing issues and risks, and ensuring effective communication throughout the lifecycle.
  • Implement project governance and change management methodologies to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Utilise appropriate tools and applications, including Microsoft Office suite and project management software for tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and achieve successful business outcomes.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within banking or regulated financial services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Solid understanding of project governance, change management, and transformation delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Miro is desirable.
