Retirement & Savings Client Relationship Team Lead

The Retirement & Savings Client Relationship Team Lead role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer-focused individual to join the Client Relationship Management team based in Guernsey. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of exceptional service to a designated portfolio of Retirement & Savings clients. The position involves building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders, while prioritising client retention and service excellence. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, alongside a passion for team development and process improvement. The candidate should hold experience with insurance, retirement, or savings products and exhibit a proactive and collaborative approach to meet client needs. The role is full-time, based in a premier international financial centre, delivering a unique opportunity to contribute to the organisation's success.

Job Duties:

  • Lead the management of the Retirement and Savings client portfolio ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and brokers, responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Process various administration tasks for corporate and individual policies accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor outstanding debts over 45 days, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Encourage the use of online service centres and ensure client documentation is up to date and accurate.
  • Develop a customer-centric approach within the team.
  • Coordinate and maintain necessary Client Due Diligence (CDD) documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to debt monitoring and response times for client queries.
  • Participate in projects and assist with any system development and testing when required.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, particularly in client relationship management.
  • Strong background in insurance, retirement, or savings products is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet client and business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and ethical work climate conducive to staff motivation and retention.
