The role of Learning & Development Officer is a full-time position, consisting of 39 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of the Learning and Development Strategy. This includes reviewing the progress of new colleagues through the 13-week induction programme, as well as providing ongoing training support for managers to enhance their ability to deliver induction training to staff. The Officer will identify training and development needs within the organisation by consulting regularly with business partners, stakeholders, and the HR Business Manager. Additionally, the role involves designing and expanding training programmes tailored to the needs of both the organisation and its individuals, producing training materials for in-house courses, and managing the delivery and evaluation of training initiatives. Effective collaboration with stakeholders from various teams, such as marketing, finance, and IT, will be required to ensure training programmes meet organisational needs. The Officer will also oversee training administration duties while ensuring legal compliance and data protection regulations are followed.
