Client Services Associate

This full-time role involves working as a Client Services Associate within an operations department, focusing on client administration and relationship management. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team based in the Isle of Man and will be responsible for managing a diverse range of inbound queries from clients and advisors, both via telephone and written correspondence. key responsibilities include resolving issues promptly and professionally while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction. The Client Services Team plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and documentation of client interactions, updating records, and following up on actions in a timely manner. Additionally, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with other departments to address complex issues. This position promotes personal and professional development through the achievement of departmental objectives and individual performance development plans.

Job Duties:

  • Deal with queries from clients, both internally and externally via telephone or written communication
  • Perform KYC reviews of client files, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and managing the client transaction from start to finish where necessary or on an ad-hoc basis if required
  • Actively contribute to the successful delivery of departmental objectives along with personal business objectives and performance development plan
  • Be a team player and contribute to the “one team” approach across all of Client Services
  • Take ownership of and resolve any queries through to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Support ongoing reviews and updating of procedures within the team and department
  • Responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of administrative tasks
  • Support a full ownership approach of customer and adviser queries from receipt until expectations have been satisfied
  • Ensure pended work is reviewed, chased, and closed within expected timescales
  • Maintain a proactive, solutions-based approach to understanding issues and implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures
  • Maintain timely and professional contact with stakeholders at all times
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and sharing best practices
  • Contribute to a proactive working culture
  • Be part of an innovative culture focused on problem-solving
  • Take personal responsibility for data integrity

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in client services or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle queries and provide support in an efficient and professional manner
  • Familiarity with KYC processes and regulatory requirements
  • Effective organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate with colleagues across departments
  • Proactive mind-set with a focus on problem-solving
