Senior Administrator, Global Compliance Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrator to join the Risk & Compliance team, offering the chance to work in either Guernsey or Jersey. This role is pivotal in ensuring that systems and controls remain effective and compliant. The successful candidate will undertake compliance monitoring reviews across the global business, assessing regulatory controls and identifying areas for improvement. Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are essential for this position. The role involves maintaining records of findings, drafting reports with recommendations, and supporting the Compliance Monitoring Programme by liaising with business stakeholders. Collaborating with various teams, including Finance and HR, ensures a cohesive approach to compliance. Job Duties:

  • Deliver compliance monitoring reviews, including scoping and sample testing
  • Assess compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of controls and provide findings and recommendations
  • Maintain records of monitoring activities and ensure timely remediation of issues
  • Support the review and maintenance of Risk & Compliance policies and procedures
  • Assist with stakeholder inquiries regarding compliance activities, findings, and updates

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in regulated financial services in client administration, compliance, audit, risk, or operational control
  • Understanding of corporate and fiduciary services in Jersey and/or Guernsey
  • Knowledge of AML, CFT, and regulatory requirements pertinent to these jurisdictions
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Capability to produce clear and professional written reports
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
