Accountant

Our client is seeking a qualified Tax Accountant with a strong preference for candidates holding either ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians), CIOT (Chartered Institute of Taxation), or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualifications. The position offers the opportunity to work primarily in corporate tax; however, candidates with experience in other areas of tax may also be considered. This is a unique role designed for accountants who excel in preparing accounts rather than merely monitoring accounting processes. The position is full-time and is based in a prominent location. The Tax Accountant will play a crucial role within the team, focusing on various aspects of tax compliance and reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring that all tax-related obligations are met accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. JOB DUTIES:

  • Prepare comprehensive accounts and tax returns to meet client needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Essentially, candidates should possess relevant qualifications, such as ATT, CIOT, or ACCA.
  • Candidates must demonstrate experience in preparing accounts, as opposed to merely monitoring accounting activities.
  • A strong understanding of corporate tax regulations and compliance requirements is essential.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for addressing client queries effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital for interacting with clients and colleagues.
