Trainee Fund Accountant

Our client, an established provider of private wealth, fund, and corporate administration services, is seeking a Trainee Fund Accountant. This is a full-time, permanent position based in a professional business environment. The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients while working under the guidance of senior team members. You will gain valuable experience in technical financial services and contribute to the delivery of exceptional client service. The Trainee Fund Accountant will focus on maintaining up-to-date records for corporate structures, preparing financial statements, and providing support for client queries. JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensure up-to-date and accurate bookkeeping of all fund and corporate structures.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for a portfolio of clients, including analysis of cash payments and receipts.
  • Assist in the initial setup of entity, investor, and other data cards in the accounting system under the supervision of a senior team member.
  • Support the delivery of financial statements and specialized reporting within client and regulatory timelines.
  • Manage and resolve proactive queries raised by colleagues, clients, their advisors, and auditors.
  • Provide exceptional service levels and enhance client experience throughout the lifecycle of client engagements.
  • Adhere to all relevant internal workflows, policies, and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
