Our client is seeking a full-time Assistant Administrator to join their Client Services team in Jersey. This role is essential in providing comprehensive administrative support to a diverse international client base and their structures. You will assist in managing a varied portfolio that includes Trusts, Companies, Foundations, Limited Partnerships, and Funds. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the team to ensure that accurate statutory, accounting, and client administration records are maintained while adhering to the firm's procedures. JOB DUTIES:
- Assist the team with the administration of a diverse client portfolio.
- Draft written instructions and online payments for distributions, dividends, professional fees, suppliers, and other approved transactions.
- Draft minutes, resolutions, checklists, and general correspondence for review.
- Assist in maintaining accurate statutory, accounting, and client administration records.
- Keep client files organised, ensuring that documents and correspondence are filed correctly and promptly.
- Liaise professionally with intermediaries including banks, law firms, and other professional advisors.
- Assist with client due diligence and compliance-related administration.
- Become proficient in applying the firm's policies, procedures, and systems consistently.
- Promptly escalate queries, risks, errors, or concerns to the relevant administrator or manager.
- Record all time accurately for review and approval by your line manager.
- Provide general assistance to the team as necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A recent graduate or school leaver is preferred.
- Willingness to study towards a relevant professional qualification, such as STEP or CGI, is desirable.
- Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality service.
- Clear and professional communication skills are necessary.
- Strong aptitude for learning and ability to follow established procedures.
- Collaborative team player who effectively supports colleagues and builds strong working relationships.
