Our client is seeking a Pensions Administrator who will be responsible for the daily administration of various aspects of pension structures while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a full-time position, although part-time arrangements of a minimum of 25 hours per week may be considered. The role involves maintaining accurate records and documentation, processing new joiners, and responding to queries from clients via phone, letter, and email. The Pensions Administrator will play a crucial role in calculating and processing pension benefits, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, and handling other administrative duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
- Administer established pension plans.
- Process new joiners efficiently.
- Maintain accurate data on all client files, ensuring full and proper documentation is kept.
- Respond to queries from clients by phone, letter, and email in a timely manner.
- Utilise a computer system to check and update records accurately.
- Calculate and process pension benefits with precision.
- Process payments made towards individuals' pensions.
- Oversee the processing of withdrawals for invoices and pensions.
- Facilitate the transfer of benefits from one pension to another seamlessly.
- Arrange timely payment of pensions.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to internal processes and procedures, ensuring all regulatory requirements are understood and maintained.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by senior management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A good level of numeracy and a strong attention to detail is required.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Good organisational and time management skills are necessary to meet deadlines effectively.
- A high level of confidentiality is required when managing sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills are crucial for this role.
- Basic knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and handling of sensitive information is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential for daily tasks.
- Experience of at least two years in an office environment is advantageous, although early career applicants with strong academic results will also be considered.
