Our client is seeking an IT Engineer at any level, from Junior to Senior, to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. This role involves providing on-site support and training while working closely with technicians to assist existing, new, and third-party clientele. You will build strong relationships with both internal and external customers, ensuring high-quality IT support and service delivery.
Job Duties:
- Install and maintain computer hardware, including PCs and servers
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults
- Support desktop and server operating systems, as well as application software
- Assist with network troubleshooting and maintenance
- Provide on-site support to clients, ensuring timely issue resolution
- Participate in customer mitigations and hardware setup, including occasional weekend work (time given back in lieu)
- Potentially join a 24x7 on-call rota in the future, with additional remuneration
Job Requirements:
- Experience in IT support, whether from an entry-level, career-change, or senior background
- Knowledge of PC and server installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with desktop and server operating systems, as well as application software
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support customers effectively
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and, in time, participate in a 24x7 on-call rota
