Our client is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lending Specialist to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves supporting clients through the lending process by evaluating financial information, preparing loan applications, and delivering exceptional service. You will be a key contact point for both new and existing clients, ensuring lending solutions are accurately tailored and professionally administered in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties:
- Assess client financial circumstances to determine suitable lending options
- Prepare, process and monitor loan applications from initial enquiry through to completion
- Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and third parties throughout the lending process
- Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and internal requirements
- Provide timely updates to clients regarding the status of their applications
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks
- Assist with the review of existing lending arrangements and recommend changes where necessary
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and promoting additional products or services
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to team targets
- Handle client enquiries professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high level of service
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a lending, credit, or financial services role
- Strong understanding of lending products, credit processes and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to assess financial documentation and make informed recommendations
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems
