Our client is looking for a Receptionist/Retail Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and customers, both in-store and via email or phone, ensuring excellent customer care and service at all times. Click here to read more.
Job Duties:
- Meet and greet clients, taking personal belongings for safe storage during appointments
- Book and confirm appointments via telephone, email, in-person, or social media, and send reminders
- Check clients in using the Shortcuts system and notify the stylist or therapist of their arrival
- Provide information on new services or in-store discounts, and cross-sell products and services when appropriate
- Answer customer queries about products and services knowledgeably
- Maintain and update the client database as needed
- Review and correct invoices, ensuring accurate stock level updates on the computer system
- Place orders with brands as directed and assist with stock taking and rotation
- Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and shelves are well-stocked
- Perform any other duties as directed
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as front of house, or in a busy environment is desirable however not essential
- Knowledge of the Shortcuts/Enterprise system is desirable but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication at all levels
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
