Trust Administrator

Our client is seeking a Temporary Trust Administrator for a back-office, non-client-facing administrative role. The position involves providing comprehensive support across corporate and trust operations within the client base. The ideal candidate will have either a professional qualification or significant industry experience.

Job Duties:

  • Perform day-to-day administration alongside Senior Client Relationship Managers across diverse portfolios.
  • Monitor client transactional activity based on risk rating, including property and investment holding companies.
  • Regularly review and maintain client data on the Troika database.
  • Review accounts provided by external accountants.
  • Handle the incorporation of local trading or asset-holding entities for local residents.
  • Conduct client closedowns and maintain the Registered Office list for Guernsey and Alderney offices.
  • Assist with client bank account openings.
  • Draft minutes and resolutions.
  • Liaise with advisers, accountants, tax specialists, lawyers, and other professionals.
  • Submit Guernsey Registry filings, including annual validations, and Companies House filings.
  • Draft Guernsey corporate tax returns.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

Job Requirements:

  • A professional qualification or significant industry experience in trust or corporate administration.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with trust, corporate, and financial processes, including database management.
  • Knowledge of Guernsey Registry and Companies House filing procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing CPD through general reading and relevant lectures.
